Mission Statement
| Founded in 1996, Colorado Progressive Coalition (CPC) is a statewide, multicultural, multi-issue coalition of people and organizations creating the action and building the movement necessary for progressive social change. We believe that political and economic democracy is necessary to realize human rights and economic and environmental justice for all. CPC is a multiracial and aggressively anti-racist organization and all of our work is guided by this principle. CPC is a hybrid organization made up of both individual members and partner organizations that work in coalition to build power in historically underrepresented communities. We build power by community organizing, leadership development, and bridging these with public policy to create longer-lasting systemic change. |
