The Community Foundation makes grants through both competitive and non-competitive grantmaking programs. Non-competitive grantmaking programs have no application process. The Community Foundation accepts recommendations year-round from fund advisors, who work with Foundation staff to ensure their granting has the greatest impact, based on their charitable interests. Complete an organizational profile to become part of our online nonprofit directory. The directory allows our donors and the general public to become more aware of the great work you do. Competitive grantmaking programs accept applications for funding and award grants on the basis of merit and compatibility with the goals of the program. The following information applies only to competitive grantmaking programs. Because the Foundation is nonsectarian, it does not support religious programming through competitive grants. It does, however, support religious organizations serving the community through projects and programs that address the goals and objectives of the Foundation's grantmaking initiatives.
