Do you fully understand the analytics pages that track traffic patterns for your website? Do you have questions about the Google Ad Words program that offers $10,000 in free advertising to nonprofits? Do you wonder what changes you should be making to your website so that your organization can better fill its mission? This class can provide answers to these questions and others.
Websites can be a powerful tool, but often non-profits don’t fully know how to use them as productively as possible. Securing a basic mastery of web analytics can help marketing staff determine what changes need to be made and then confirm that the changes are bringing desired results. In addition, knowledge of online advertising can help reach new supporters that aren’t currently aware of your organization.
This class will be presented by James Melena, E-Marketing Specialist for the High Plains Library District (HPLD). In his current capacity, he oversees all social media and online marketing strategy. Prior to this position, while working at Crested Butte Lodging in Crested Butte, CO, he pioneered native advertising in the lodging industry. While in Denver, he ran nationwide Google Marketing campaigns using Google AdWords and Analytics.
In addition to his position at HPLD, he also assists Weld County nonprofits in applying for and managing Google Grants via the Google for Nonprofits program.
