Windsor Community Foundation opens application process for 2018 grant funding

The Windsor Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Community Foundation Serving Greeley and Weld County, has begun accepting applications for 2018 funding. This year, the grant criteria has been broadened from past grant cycles and is no longer limited to programs that support the areas of human services, economic assistance, food security, and health. The deadline for organizations to apply is Tuesday, May 1, 2018 by 4:00 p.m.  Click here to access the online application and guidelines. In 2017, the Windsor Community Foundation awarded grants totaling $10,000 to nonprofit organizations serving the Windsor and Severance areas. The agencies and projects funded were:

Kids at Heart - Fundango program for Windsor/Severance youth
Lutheran Family Services - SafeTouch program for Windsor/Severance students
Timberline Church - Windsor Backpack program
United Way of Weld County - Weld’s Way Home program
Weld Food Bank - Windsor Mobile Food Pantry

The Foundation also awarded scholarships totaling $10,000 to the following Windsor High School students:
